Welcome to the Forensic Pathology and Forensic Medicine online learning resource.
This is a Web based Instructional Course with both training and educational objectives.
Training objectives: The course is intended to assist in the collection, storage and utilization of data gathered at the scene of a death, the autopsy table, the Forensic laboratory, the examining room and from referenced literature. Links with other relevant websites are on the site and regularly evaluated and updated.
Educational objectives: The course is intended to facilitate self-learning by giving access to structured educational material. The student will be able to "self test" by using an extensive Multiple Choice and True or False questions database. These quizzes are not graded. The correct and incorrect answers to the questions will show the reasons for the choice. This is to ensure a constant positive feedback to the user in order to assist in critical problem solving. Answers, when appropriate, will be cross-referenced as to their source in order to facilitate further study.
